- User-Generated Content: Photos, videos, stories, profile pictures, captions, comments, and direct chat messages you transmit through the platform.
- Device & Connection Information: Device hardware model, operating system version, app version, unique push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging / FCM), IP address, and network diagnostics.
- Usage Data: In-app interactions, feature usage logs, and error/crash reports used exclusively to maintain stability and performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for legitimate app functionality and enhancement:
- Providing Core Services: Delivering and rendering your visual stories, facilitating real-time direct chats, and presenting your profile to friends.
- Push Notifications: Delivering real-time alerts for incoming messages, mentions, and friend story activities via FCM.
- Performance & Edge Caching: Optimizing media load speeds using geo-distributed edge caching (Cloudflare CDN) so your content opens instantly.
- Account Safety & Anti-Abuse: Protecting accounts against brute-force attacks, spam, fraud, and unauthorized platform access.
- Customer Support: Responding to inquiries and debugging technical issues reported by users.

Your privacy is central to how Insight is built. We only share information with trusted infrastructure providers necessary to operate the application:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Cloudflare (for secure global CDN, edge computing, and encrypted R2 object storage).
- Notification Services: Google Firebase (for dispatching push notifications to your Android device).
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, or verified legal process.
4. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your information as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our services. You have the right at any time to:
- Access and review the personal information associated with your account.
- Edit or update your profile details and privacy settings directly in the app.
- Request permanent account and data deletion by contacting us at infralax21@gmail.com. Upon request, all associated personal media, stories, and messages will be permanently expunged from our active servers within 30 days.
